Drop the cool-kid posturing: You're not fooling us. We know you want to watch the Grammys today. And why shouldn't you? Sure, there will be plenty of celeb-on-celeb back-slapping, awkward intro speeches and interminable tributes to industry execs you couldn't care less about. But c'mon, are you really going to sit here and pretend you're not psyched to see Kanye take the stage with Rihanna and Paul freakin' McCartney? (Not to mention Beyonce, Pharrell, John Legend, Madonna, a Sam Smith–Mary J. Blige duet (!) and more.) Yeah, that's what we thought, which is why we've provided a list of local bars that will be televising the big night. So wear somethin' fancy, folks, and get our your nominee scorecard.
40/40 Club
But of course NYC's official 57th Grammy Awards Telecast Viewing Party is taking place at Jay Z's swanky 40/40 club. Matt Pinfield will host the bash, and there will be hors d'oeuvres and free stuff (posters, programs). Starts 7pm, $45.
Village Pourhouse
The sports bar is offering nominee-inspired drink specials, namely (brace yourself) Tswift-Tinis, Beyonce Brews, & Gettin’ Iggy With Its. And many, many TV screens. Starts 8pm, tickets $10, VIP $50.
SOBs
Our pick of the bunch: the folks at SOBs are pushing the boat out for this swanky-sounding free party, which features an open Hollywood Punch bar, plus goodie bags and giveaways. Starts 8pm, free.
