If you haven’t heard, there’s a major revolution happening in the fashion industry. No, really! The proof is in the form of body positive campaigns featuring plus-size models and the first-ever transgender modeling agency in NYC. It's awesome that folks are trying to make shopping for clothing an inclusive, accepting and empowering experience for everyone.

But of course, certain brands are still extremely limiting to those who do not identify as male or female (i.e. Rain Dove—the stunning model and gender capitalist we featured in our latest Spring Fashion issue). Think about it. Menswear? Womenswear? Shouldn’t we call it peopleswear? That’s just our humble opinion, but there's a "nonbinary fashion zine" called CTRL/ALT/GENDER by Dark Matter, which is using its unique, artistic voice in an attempt to remove "male" and "female" from the racks all together.

The publication, featuring encouraging words, photography and videos from gender nonconforming artists is a collaboration with Ace Hotel, where the goal is to not simply garner acceptance for trans people, but to liberate everyone from the boring confines of gender. And, as you can see, the fashion is anything but boring! We love Dark Matter's use of colors, prints, textures and our favorite—neon lipstick! Check out some of their stunning looks below!
