The last living 9/11 rescue dog just had the best birthday ever

The 16-year-old golden retriever that’s believed to be the last living 9/11 rescue dog was just given the doggie birthday of a lifetime courtesy of the canine-focused blog BarkPost.

Bretagne, who along with her owner Denise Corliss was party of Texas Task Force 1 which combed the rubble for survivors after the terrorist attack, was given a gourmet cheeseburger, driven around the city in a vintage taxi and played with toys during the all-expenses paid trip to NYC.
