The L train decide to celebrate May the Fourth today by crossing over to the dark side and extending its weekend vacation by an extra few hours. Around 9am, a train encountered mechanical problems at the Bedford Avenue station delaying trains in both directions at the height of the morning rush. Commuters were angry, but at this point, definitely not surprised.
I got to see a couple meet, fall in love and break up on the delayed #LTrain commute this AM. #MTA #NYC

Template Monday text from the #Ltrain commuters to their employers: "Be there in 5, don't fire me, #Ltrain stopped working for 35 minutes" ?

Thanks #Ltrain for making me super late to my first day of my new job. I hope they don't mind my sweatiness.
