Last night a gnarly storm hit NYC, causing serious flooding and traffic delays throughout the five boroughs. The National Weather Service sent out a flash flood warning around 5pm, and in a few short hours five inches of rain water-logged the city and caused the Long Island Expressway to shut down in both directions.
