Remember when the “10 Hours of Walking in NYC as a Woman” video went viral? If you’ve watched the clip, or if you’ve been personally affected by catcalling, then you know street harassment is a problem women (men, too) face on a day-to-day basis.

And since it’s Anti-Street Harassment week, now's your chance to take a stand and finally do something about it. This Saturday, join performance artist and host Queen Godis as well as 31 anti-violence organizations and over 400 of your peers at Washington Square Park for a rally against catcalls from 2pm–4pm.

The rally will include 18 guest speakers, self-defense workshops and a chalk walk, where participants can voice their responses to street harassment in writing. But in case you can’t pinpoint the event (the massive crowd should be your first clue), look out for Hollaback’s 12-foot “Cat Against Catcalls” figure. You can’t miss it.

We've got an awesome list of things to do this weekend, but you're going to want to tell your future grandkids about this one.
