Soulection's Sound of Tomorrow makes its NYC debut at Output tomorrow

Soulection, the fast-rising Los Angeles record label, radio show and artist collective that specializes in sun-soaked experimental beats, is bringing its famed Sound of Tomorrow shindig to NYC this Thursday, Nov 13, for the first time ever. The globe-trotting soiree has made cameo appearances in cities like Berlin, London and Tokyo, so we're pretty excited to see it's finally making its way to the Big Apple. The debut features Southern California producer ESTA, who specializes in laid-back, dreamy odes (but don’t be fooled—he can craft a hard-knocking beat with the best of them), Soulection cofounder Joe Kay, “future bounce” pioneer Lakim, soulful selector the Whooligan and Baltimore producer Chris McClenney, who incorporates live instrumentation in his production to groovy, body-moving effect.
