Today in crazy NYPD tweets news, the 34th Precinct posted a photo of a single alligator in the city walking down Ninth Avenue and looking for love. The police took the loitering urban reptile to Animal Care and Control, but not before Twitter gave it their best shot at a plausible explanation.
