As the saying goes, if you can make it here you'll make it anywhere, and if you have access to a key to get into exclusive Gramercy Park, you or someone you know is privileged and powerful and should take me out to dinner. But once a year on Christmas Eve, a charitable tradition allows us normals to step into the park's hallowed grounds key-free.

Join the Parish of Calvary St. George's for some festive caroling in Gramercy Park at 6pm Dec 24, even if you're a faithless heathen, and you too can experience what it's like to stand somewhere barely anyone's allowed. Pizza Rat might even be there, because as we all know keys don't keep the ground dwellers of this city out.

If caroling isn't your bag, there's a lot of other ways to celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah and even more before the end of 2015. Happy holidays!
