We’ve been waiting anxiously since July for Milk Bar Soho to whip open its window at the Band of Outsiders flagship. Today the tiny sweetshop is finally in business, slinging savory breads, cake truffles and espresso everyday from 9am–11pm. To celebrate the new locale’s launch, pastry maven Christina Tosi is bringing back her original soft-serve flavor from 2008: salty pistachio. (Don’t worry, there will be plenty of crack pie and compost cookies, too.) Here’s a first look at the sweet-and-savory goodness:
