It's more bad news for FAO Schwarz. The beloved toy store, which left its long-time home at 767 Fifth Avenue earlier this summer, doesn't appear to be moving to Times Square after all. The store had planned on moving into a new, smaller, Apple Store-like space in Times Square just in time for the holiday season, but Commercial Observer is reporting that the 40,000 square-foot space they had been eyeing is back on the market for $4 million.
That means that the toy store is still homeless. Guess we should hope for a Christmas miracle?
