First Chipotle, now DD? #BLESSED. New Yorkers already have some of the best food delivery options around, but according to CNBC, Dunkin’ Brands CEO Nigel Travis wants to jump on the bandwagon too. Cream-filled doughnuts, coffee and 99-cent hash browns on our doorstep? Yes, please.
Travis reveals that the company is starting to privately test its mobile ordering service—which includes a delivery option—and plans to make the test public later this year. The plan is still a work-in-progress, but the chain intends to launch the system by 2016. Looks like Americans can run on Dunkin’ without ever having to physically run to the nearest location for java and munchkins in the very near future.
