Dragons have invaded the city—SO RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! Unless, of course, you’re a huge Game of Thrones nerd.

To celebrate the release of Game of Thrones: The Complete Fifth Season, HBO is hosting a “Dragons Landing Pad” installation at the North Plaza of Union Square today. Fans of the highly-addictive series can take photos and witness the damage and destruction—dug up concrete, fire marks, dragon footprints, crushed-up benches—of said “dragons” first-hand.

The event is ongoing throughout the day, but Gothamist reports that there will be another special outdoor fan event at 7:30pm in Herald Square, where you can watch a screening of “The Dance of Dragons.” The 20-minute, 3D-animated film will create a mystical and visually stunning image of dragons taking flight. Pretty cool, huh?

Apparently, a GOT cast member is expected to be in attendance, although the name of said character will not be released until later this evening. Fingers crossed that it’s Jon Snow! (SPOILER: We're still not over it).
