New York city has everything—except a starry night sky. But this Saturday, that will change, at least in Madison Square Park.
If you missed stargazing on the Highline this summer, there’s still a chance to view those luminous spheres—the only catch is they’re virtual.
A new website called CREATE allows you to customize a unique star, shoot the star into CREATE’s virtual sky and dedicate the star to someone special. Personalize the color, shape and write a heartfelt message. The best part: it’s completely free.
Then, on Saturday, November 1, head to Madison Square Park where Wix.com will use 3D mapping, state of the art projectors and a six-story canvas to display the CREATE galaxy for all to see.
Don’t miss your chance to light up NYC (stargazing kicks off at 7pm). If you see a virtual shooting star, we like to think that the wish still counts.
