Here's a new way to take the edge off that impending workday anxiety: Apothéke is launching an all-absinthe Sunday menu starting April 3. Bargoers can rest easy as barkeeps shake up 10 new absinthe-based cocktails including the Jabberwocky (Mansinthe absinth, Barking Irons applejack, house limoncello and grape-apple juice; $18) and the Night at the Movies (St. George absinthe, aged rum, lime, cherry heering and agave; $18).

Alongside the new drinks, the bar also hosts weekly live music programming on Sunday nights, with local psychedelic jazz outfit Live Footage supplying the sounds. As you soak up the tunes and knock bak some mind-bending tipples—absinthe was once believed to be a hallucinogen—you can drift off, at least temporarily, to a happier land where weekends last forever.
