Never again let anyone say there aren’t any good bars near Penn Station. This Irish pub is a cut above, with a handsome interior (two bar areas and a dining room) and a clientele to match. (The name means “land of eternal youth,” but the commuter and MSG crowd is a little more varied than that.) Nary a panel of wood or glass isn’t intricately detailed in Celtic patterns; many of these elements have been salvaged from Irish castles and cathedrals. You might pair a glass before or after the game with such American fare as oven-roasted cod.
