Macbeth

American baritone Thomas Hampson performs the brutal title role, egged on by fearless German soprano Nadja Michael, who makes her company debut as Lady Macbeth. In this revival of Adrian Noble's captivating production, the pair wrestles with some of Verdi's most challenging music as well as some inconvenient obstacles to the throne (Günther Groissböck's Banquo and Dimitri Pittas's Macduff).
