"Impressionism: American Gardens on Canvas”

The horticultural inspiration behind much of the work of the American Impressionists is revisited here in a recreation of a 19th-century garden paired with a gallery exhibit of garden-themed paintings by William Merritt Chase, Childe Hassam and John Singer Sargent among others.
