Another Yale M.F.A. with a practiced hand at Cuisinarting recent and historical painting tropes, Levine offers up infectiously appealing abstractions that are richly colorful and densely composed, and seem to bounce off everything from 1980s Neo-Geo to folk-art quilts. They're definitely an eyeful.
