El Anatsui

The Ghanian artist returns to New York for the first time since his triumphant 2013 Brooklyn Museum survey with concurrent shows Uptown at Mnuchin Gallery and downtown at Jack Shainman Gallery in Chelsea. On view will be the latest iterations of the artist's shimmering wall hangings and sculptures made of liquor bottle caps, printing plates and copper wire.
