The Governors Island Art Fair

NYC arts group 4heads organizes this fair, which invites over 100 independent artists and a selection of galleries to take over Governors Island for four weekends in September. Families should make sure to stop by the Mobile School Bus Dream installation, where kids can board the bus and create visuals to represent their hopes and dreams. The bus itself will be the canvas for paints and other craft materials, and youngsters' finished works will hang on it. Ages 6–14.
