Randalls Island Park

Located on the East River between East Harlem, the South Bronx and Astoria, Queens, this park offers waterfront views of the East River and the Manhattan skyline along its western shoreline, which also features bicycle and pedestrian trails. Children can try out multiple sports such as field hockey, rugby, football, lacrosse, soccer, softball and baseball at the different athletic fields. The park is especially eco-friendly in that it boasts an Urban Farm where a variety of fruits and vegetables are grown and multiple gardens such as the Apple Orchard and Native Wildflower Meadows. Icahn Stadium is one of the park's staple facilities. It hosts the Youth Challenge Series track meets during the spring. The park provides different educational youth programs centered around music, golf, tennis and more. The destination also offers a summer camp.
