Big news! We've teamed up with Base Camp to offer a 10% discount on tickets using the code TIMEOUT.
What is Base Camp?
So glad you asked. Picture 40 acres of camping, swimming, music and art in the middle of the desert—that's Base Camp in a nutshell. The brand new RV and tent camp will take place during three festival weekends this spring, setting up shop in Indio to provide a camping (and partying) experience that rivals any other festivities in the area. In addition to facilities like restrooms, showers, water, etc., Base Campers will be treated to an array of amenities such as a coffee bar; a swimming pool and lake (with lakeside cabanas and bottle service); cocktail bars; a pop-up restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks; food & drink "room service" (more like tent service); massages and yoga; hot air balloon rides; fashion boutiques (for that last minute festival style) and festival transportation and concierge services.
What else?
Base Camp also promises daily epic desert beach parties and "secret surprises [musical note emoji]." It's free to RSVP for the parties, which will run from noon to 6pm each day with curated DJ sets, cocktails and general revelry.
How much are tickets?
If you're interested in camping, there's a $175 per person flat rate, which includes four nights of camping (Thursday through Sunday). That rate includes your choice of campsite: 12' x 12' grass tent site; 10' x 30' grass car camp site; or 20' x 40' RV site. If you're planning on rolling with a crew, check out the slightly cheaper group rates. And don't forget to use the code TIMEOUT for 10% off!
