Time Out says

Disneyland marks its diamond anniversary with three new nighttime shows, a 24-hour celebration and a fresh coat of blinged out paint (and merchandise). While you'll likely have the rest of the year, if not longer, to check all of 60th stuff out, eager parkgoers will want to turn out on May 22 for the first day—which just so happens to be a sure-to-be-mobbed 24-hour-day at the park.

Starting May 22, both Disneyland and California Adventure will be decked out in all-diamond-everything, including both Sleeping Beauty Castle and Carthay Circle Theater. Disneyland will see a new fireworks show, Disneyland Forever, as well as a new nighttime parade, Paint the Night, a sort of Main Street Electrical Parade for the LED age. Meanwhile, California Adventure's World of Color takes on the subtitle "Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney," and does, well, exactly what that title says.
