A Screening of Airplane! with Mayor Garcetti

Zócalo Public Square and KCRW tasked Mayor Eric Garcetti with choosing his favorite movie to screen. Chinatown? Blade Runner? Nope, he chose Airplane! (get in your "surely, you can't be serious" joke here). You won't hear any arguments from us—the 1980 comedy is arguably the greatest spoof movie of all time. After the screening at Downtown's Million Dollar Theatre, the mayor will sit down with KCRW’s Madeleine Brand to talk about his thoughts on comedy and why he chose the film.
