The Pasadena Playhouse will present the world premiere of Breaking Through, about an up-and-coming singer/songwriter who is trying to find herself while navigating the tough music industry. The production—with book by Kirsten Guenther and music and lyrics by Cliff Downs and Katie Kahanovitz—features Broadway star Alison Luff and former American Idol star Constantine Maroulis.
