Yai Restaurant

As one of the oldest Thai restaurants in LA, Yai's presence in Thai Town has been a strong one. The standard menu items are all here—pad Thai, nam tok, etc—but so are dishes like wild boar with green peppercorns and catfish served countless ways. Its strip mall location makes it a tad difficult to find, but once you're inside the service is quick and pleasant, and the food is on point.
