The culinary capital of Chinese food in LA is now Monterey Park, but the restaurants in Chinatown still have a devoted following. Ocean Seafood is the best bet in the area for Hong Kong-style dim sum, and also offers fresh fish from the tanks. The big upstairs room is packed every weekend; however, if you go during the week, you're unlikely to wait.
