Moon Juice (CLOSED)

With locations already in Venice and Silver Lake, Moon Juice has given its juiced-up fans and cleanse devotees a new reason to celebrate: a shop in Ace Hotel Downtown. More specifically, in Ace Hotel's ticket booth, a prime spot that allows both hotel guests and passersby on the street easy access to Moon Juice's signature beverages and raw snacks. "We wanted to cater to both the hotel traveler and the Angeleno on the go," says Amanda Chantal Bacon, the company's founder, and so there are cleanse programs for guests at Ace and packages of dried nuts and compressed juice that are perfect for pre- and post-flight nibbling. Downtown dwellers and suits who need a boost before work can stop by the strorefront for a raw cinammon muffin and a bottle of watermelon, tomato and lime juice—or any of the other good-for-you juices that fill the store's fridge.
