Compañia de Café (CLOSED)

You'd be hard pressed not to fall in love with Compañia de Café after one visit. It's not just the row of mole-, cheese- and meat-filled empañadas that sit next to intricately decorated sugar cookies, or the lattes infused with horchata or chocolate ganache. It could be the fact that the tiles and plates and mugs all match the icing on the cookies, or that piñatas hang from the ceiling, or that you can sit in plush chairs and couches while sipping on excellent agua frescas with watermelon or cantaloupe. It could be that there are a plethora of outlets, so that you can make Compañia your office for the day while the sounds of traditional Mexican music play softly in the background. It's all of this, really, that makes this coffee shop the best thing about downtown San Fernando.
