Casbah Cafe (CLOSED)

A few doors down from Intelligentsia along Sunset stands Casbah Café, a more bohemian alternative for relaxing and refreshments. Housed in a pretty turquoise building, the lovely little French-Moroccan café specializes in strong coffees, fresh mint teas and big, simple salads. There's a boutique selling fanciful clothing and home goods, and tile-topped, outdoor tables under blooming trellises from under which you can sip your drink and people-watch.
