Better brush up on your Italian before you step into this gelateria—all the flavors and sizes are only in italiano. But even if you're not entirely sure what you're ordering, chances are you'll wind up with something pretty darn good. Only the best and freshest ingredients are used to make the rich and intensely-flavored selections, which include a very dark green pistachio (their best-seller) that actually tastes like pistachios, and Florentine chocolate with flakes of sea salt. What Bulgarini lacks in convenience of location (it's tucked in the back of the shopping plaza, right next to Rite Aid), it makes up for in customer service—guests are encouraged to try many flavors before ordering. If you find yourself in Culver City and craving a fix, head to their other location.
