Bang on a Can All-Stars

The illustrious contemporary music ensemble Bang on a Can All-Stars will perform works from their newest album, Field Recordings. All of the works on the album were commissioned works by composers and artists who are on the cutting edge, and all of the works are include recorded sound from other sources, such as film, archival sounds and found recordings. The concert will include premieres of new compositions by big contemporary music names like Steve Reich, Bryce Dessner, Jóhann Jóhannsson, David Lang, Julia Wolfe, and many others.
