Formerly known as the Staples Center, this Downtown arena is best known as the home court for the Lakers (as well as fellow NBA team the Clippers, the NHL’s Kings and WNBA’s Sparks). It’s also one of the city’s go-to spaces for arena-sized concerts. Though it’s plush and modern, the sound quality in the 20,000-capacity arena is surprisingly variable.
