Nowruz Celebration

Ring in the Persian New Year (Nowruz) at LACMA with a celebration for all ages. In collaboration with the non-religious Farhang Foundation, the fifth annual cultural event will include a Short Film Festival, shining light on the Iranian heritage. The festivities continue with a day of Persian food, music, dance performances, art and family activities—including story reading and calligraphy for children—as well as a traditional, symbolic display, known as Haft Sin, representing the New Year.
