Time Out says

Built in 1973 by Welton Becket Associates, the same architecture firm responsible for the Capitol Records building and Cinerama Dome, the Glendale Central Library is the main hub of the Glendale Public Library system, which comprises a total of five libraries. The striking venue often hosts book readings, author signings and computer workshops in addition to acting as a traditional lending library. Make sure to stop by the Special Collections room to see photographs and documents that survey the city's history.
