Over the weekend the Café Club Fais Do-Do played host to the 2013 Burlympics, a burlesque and variety performance competition presented by Burlesque Bitch. Over the course of the weekend, 28 performers from across the country arrived to compete in a two-day marathon of lusty, red-blooded performances with gratuitous amounts of glitter, make-up and titty-twirling. The show commenced with crude and politically incorrect MC, Patrick "the Bank Robber," who came prepared with an arsenal of cringe-worthy jokes. The performances varied from larger group variety acts—combining music with tight, well-rehearsed choreography—to sexy solo performances furnished with pizazz, smoky intensity and—of course—lots of skin. Here, our best shots from the night.
