Rain: we need it, so we won't tell it to go away, but we're also pretty ready for LA's epic spring weather. Though this week has been lovely, rains could be headed to the LA area as early tomorrow.

According to AccuWeather, a storm pattern could bring rains to LA throughout the weekend, with Saturday being the wettest day. Since this year's much-hyped El Niño has been lackluster to say the least, we'll take all the rain we can get. With the precipitation, temps will drop down to the upper 60s, which is below normal for this time of year.

So what are you to do this weekend if—and we say "if" because you never can trust when someone says "rain" and "LA" in the same sentence—it does rain? Check out our suggestions below.

1. The Dog Café officially opens April 7 in LA, so go sip some warm tea and pet an adorable pup while it rains cats and dogs outside.

2. The temperatures are sure to rise soon, so go eat some of the best pho in town before the weather will have you craving ice cream instead.

3. Head to a bar, because, well, why not?

4. Go see one of April's must-see theater productions

5. Take a big whiff of petrichor.

6. Check out the Getty's new Robert Mapplethorpe exhibit, because it looks pretty awesome.

Whether it rains or not, we just hope the rain doesn't put a damper on the annual So Cal Corgi Beach Day. And if it does rain, hopefully wildflower season will continue to be spectacular.
