Coachella wasn't the only major event happening this past weekend in Southern California. The 42nd Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach went down in the coastal city, with races and events taking place throughout the weekend. Thousands of people throughout the country travel to Long Beach for the event every year, and this year did not disappoint. Driver Simon Pagenaud won the main IndyCar race after implementing a somewhat controversial move, while Alfonso Ribeiro—you may know him as Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air—won Saturday's Pro/Celebrity Race for the third time. Other celebrity drivers included Brian Austin Green, Frankie Muniz, Jimmy Vasser and Adam Carolla. Not into IndyCar? There was also drifting competitions and a truck race.

But the three-day event is about more than just the races. Rockers Cheap Trick took to the stage in front of the Long Beach Convention Center for the Rock-n-Roar concert on Saturday night, while the Lifestyle Expo featured energy-efficient vehicles and building materials throughout the weekend. There was plenty of other entertainment taking place throughout the event, including food trucks, water games and more. Restaurants and bars within the circuit were jam packed, as they are every year. Take a look at our photos below to get a glimpse at what the Long Beach Grand Prix is all about.
