He also happens to be really charming, funny (his laugh is contagious) and sensitive. He's an artist and a writer who calls a 50-mile bike ride to Malibu followed by an ocean swim just a normal Saturday. You can also always count on him to get up and sing either Whitney or Prince at karaoke—and he gets the whole bar going. He's the kind of guy everyone wants to know."

What LA stereotype do you kind of live up to? You may or may not find me writing furiously in a coffee shop from time to time... while I judge everyone else writing in the coffee shop.
What's your favorite neighborhood in LA? I love Santa Monica. I love the vibe and the weather and the beach and the people and sometimes running into Arnold Schwarzenegger while I'm out running.
What are three must-have items you'd stash in your earthquake kit (aside from the essentials)? The extended editions of the Lord of the Rings trilogy loaded on my iPad. A cronut from DK's Donuts. Cards Against Humanity.
What's your favorite bar in LA? West 4th and Jane, because they have great beer and the best tots in town.
Dive bar, cocktail bar or juice bar? The truths of life can only be revealed in dive bars. I'd go to a cocktail bar to pretend I know the truth, and a juice bar for more fiber in my diet.
