It has taken four years—four years—to complete the renovation of Downtown's historic Clifton's Cafeteria, a multi-million dollar project spearheaded by owner Andrew Meieran. Since announcing that the five-story building would open to the public on September 21, Angelenos have been clamoring to get a look inside the storied space. Well, good news: You can now purchase a ticket to party at Clifton's on opening night.

While VIP tickets are already sold out, General Admission is still available for $125—not cheap, sure, but proceeds from the event will benefit the Los Angeles Conservancy, a nonprofit that works to preserve historic spaces throughout LA County. And the ticket is well worth it: From 6:30-9:30, you'll be able to explore the first two floors—a beautiful cafeteria, plus the second story Monarch Bar—while enjoying hors d'oeuvres, drinks, a full dinner and dessert from executive chef Jason Fullilove. Will there be a cafeteria line? You bet.

The party will include live entertainment (we're gunning for some swing music), and plenty of history buffs losing their minds over this long-awaited opening. We're kind of losing our minds, too.

The grand opening party is on September 21 from 6:30-9:30pm; tickets can be purchased here.
