We've welcomed some esteemed guests (and delicious donuts) to our own office, but never a full-sized Star Wars droid.

BB-8, the lovable soccer ball-like droid from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, took a visit to the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena (slash La Cañada Flintridge for you geographic sticklers) for an unfathomably adorable robot playdate.

The free-roaming robot could be spotted mugging for photos on Wednesday with JPL employees, Mars rover prototypes and next to the Juno spacecraft prototype inside the complex's massive clean room.

It appears that BB-8 was touring the hillside facility to film a segment with social media personality Amy Pham. In the meantime, check out these photos and videos below—and try not to let your jealousy get the best of you.
