November just became an even better month ever to see live music in LA.
Yesterday Red Bull Sound Select announced a new series called "30 Days in LA"—it's a show every single night of the month (even Thanksgiving, for all you locals and transplants staying put) and chances are, some of your favorite artists are involved. The best part? Tickets are around $15 and some events are free. The worst part? Some have already sold out...
Here's what we're really excited about on the line-up:
—Chet Faker (um, did you see him at FYF?) at Mack Sennett Studios with James Supercave and Denitia and Sene. (Update: this event is now sold out.)
—The Head And The Heart at the Theatre At The Ace Hotel
—A night of karaoke at Shatto 39 lanes (one of our best bowling alleys, hands down) hosted by artists...liquid courage required.
—Kurt Vile and the Violators at First Unitarian Church
—A vinyl dance night among the wax figures at Madame Tussauds. There's a good chance there will be some face melting that night (sorry, couldn't resist).
—Future Islands at The Wiltern
And that's just a few of the amazing shows happening just two months from now. Tickets are on sale now, and they're bound to go fast. You'll need to sign up for a Red Bull Sound Select free account in order to buy tickets, and enter in a confirmation code on the Ticketmaster to complete the purchase. Just click the link to confirm your registration, and you'll be able to see the code. You're limited to two tickets per night, per person.
Red Bull, for the record, feel free to stay for another month. Or two.
