The specialty at this bar is—you guessed it—pool, but the spot sets itself apart with a decidedly retro feel (just witness the old-timey signage and a huge photograph of Sean Connery shooting a game). You can spot the club from outside by the big 8-ball perched on top of its roof. There are billiard tables aplenty, and if pool's not your thing, head for the foosball. You'll feel like you're wearing rose-colored glasses, what with the red pool tables, walls, wingback chairs and booths. Order a round of drinks then fill up on the upscale take on traditional bar food: a Parm Burger ($11) and a Buffalo Chicken Salad ($10) are just two tasty offerings. And for dessert, don't miss the Delicious Doughnuts—cinnamon sugar donut balls—on their own or à la mode. The place is a favorite late-night hang, but there's also a daily happy hour (4-8pm), with many menu items at half price.
