Westway Beach

West London gains its very own version of seaside fun this June as the National Trust set up an urban beach at Acklam Village on the Westway flyover. Sandcastles, windbreakers, deckchairs, cut-out-scene photo boards and even dunes will help to set the scene, and there'll be family-friendly activities after school on Friday (until 7pm) and from 2pm-5pm over the weekend. A beach bar will be open on Friday evening (7pm-9pm) and a market will trade on Saturday and Sunday (11am-6pm).
