Liverpool Street Station is putting on a UK first: a 24-hour live piano festival. The 24-Hr Pianothon will be celebrating the return of Channel 4’s The Piano, where judges search for the next virtuoso pianist in the country’s busiest train stations. From 6am to 6am, this one-off event will invite everyone from musicians and surprise celebrity guests to passers by to take to the keys to contribute to the non-stop concert. Expect everything from classical and jazz to R&B and indie and with no tickets needed, anyone can turn up throughout and listen to a slice of the action. Not able to make it to Liverpool Street? The whole thing will be live-streamed on Channel 4.
