Time Out says

In the latest winter rooftop opening, Bristol’s ethically minded modern British dining darling The Ethicurean is popping up at The Gardening Society on the John Lewis rooftop. There’ll be classic fare such as Victorian scrambled eggs, sticky toffee apple cake and a limited edition Christmas venison pie – but all dishes have an Ethicurean twist.

Think Welsh rarebit with a cheeky serving of Chinese kimchi, or a truffle and porcini sausage with buttered mash and cider and onion sauce. Boozy offerings include an Eight Spices Mulled Negroni and a Pumpkin Punch made with bourbon, Maraschino cherry liqueur and honeyed Rooibos. Expect festive touches too – with fairy lights and a 12ft Christmas tree covered in vintage baubles.
