Stoke Newington Literary Festival

There’s plenty to keep you busy at Stokey’s annual celebration of the written word in all its forms, from talks on local history, the burqa and the cultural influence of George Orwell’s ‘1984’ by journalist Dorian Lynskey to kid-friendly treasure hunts and the final edition of The Red Lion’s ‘Game of Thrones’ pub quiz. There’s a raft of big-name speakers, including (but not limited to) Zawe Ashton, Sali Hughes, Nigella Lawson, Lauren Laverne and Tracey Thorn.
