The concept for this new series of engaging evening lectures originated in New York. Conceived by a group of students and young professionals (who clearly could organize a piss up in a brewery) the inaugural London event will see thirty notable speakers, including Aaquil Ahmed (head of religion and ethics at the BBC) and Denis MacShane (former Labour Party politician and convicted fraudster), give talks on a wide range of topics in twenty of the capital's bars. The talks are all free and will take place simultaneously across venues, with some bars hosting two consecutive talks during the evening. Look online to reserve a place and see the full line up.
