People, Pedals and Pavement: the History of Cycling in London

The history of our relationship with bikes is explored in depth at this all-day event which features an exhibition of related photographs, maps and archive film, as well as a series of guest speakers talking about London's cycling history. Guests include Stan Rose from the Pickwick Bicycle Club, archivist Anna Mcnally from the University of Westminster Archive, and Carlton Reid, author of new book 'The Roads Were not Built for Cars'.
